• Appearance: Vermicompost is a dark brown or black, crumbly material with a slightly sweet odor.
• Nutrient content: Vermicompost contains a variety of essential plant nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur. It is also rich in beneficial soil microbes and plant growth hormones.
• pH: Vermicompost has a pH of 6.5 to 7.5, which is ideal for most plants.
• Moisture content: Vermicompost should be moist, but not soggy. The ideal moisture content is around 40%.
